Building type block by block

I’ve been using Fontstruct, an online tool for designing modular type, for over 17 years to experiment with random font concepts. It’s the perfect tool for rapidly prototyping the kind of typefaces I want to build. Some of these prototypes become full typefaces while others are just one-off designs. I really enjoy sharing creations on Fontstruct and you can download any of my public releases for free with a user account. While these designs aren’t as refined as my commercial releases, they might be just what you need.
